Planning my meals ahead of time. I make sure that if I know Sunday is going to be busy, I will grocery shop on Saturday or at least stop by the store to get the necessities. And I always batch cook on Sundays so mid-week I can grab snacks or MRE's! It's just a way of life for me now. There aren't many things that will come before my meal-prep time.

I try to avoid getting too busy and stressed, but there are sometimes when it just happens.. so I make sure that there are good snacks/meals that can be put together without any real preparation. I usually make large amounts when i cook supper so there are usually leftovers that are in the fridge that take no time at all.
One thing that I try and make a point of when I am stressed is to take a couple of mintues and do some stretches, have a hot cup of tea or a nice bath-something to destress myself, that way you don't get so busy or stressed that you lose focus of your goals.

I tend to eat when I'm stressed, so I make sure to have lots of veggies cut and ready, or if I'm too busy to prep, I grab one of the many veggie steamers bags I have in the freezer, like edamame or broccoli.

I make sure I keep any temptations away tho I do pretty darn good at work where there are donuts every Monday & Thursday. See, I even know which days they are brought in! I stay away from that area! HAHAHAHAHA!

This one is easy! Plan,Plan and Plan! Its really the secret to surviving life isn't it? we plan what we are doing with our money, our time and our workouts so it only makes sense to do the same with our food!
I plan my meals for the week and grocery shop accordingly. I'm on a pretty strict regimen so I even mark out the next days meals my kitchen dry erase board. On Saturdays (when I will be running around all day) I pack my cute little cooler bag to take with me. If I didn't do this? well I will end up famished and justifying a quick stop at some take out place to eat. Saturdays are my "cheat meal" or "metabolic meal" day with more calories but I don't want to waste it on a 1,000 calorie hamburger when I can mooch a great roast beef with yorkshire pudding dinner of my Mother in Law :)
