I had been carrying around an extra 20 pounds for the past 5 or 6 years, and my knees in particular were bothering to the point that I had to climb stairs slowly, sideways. My last couple of yearly physicals revealed arthritis and slight bone loss. It was time to make a decision. At 51 years old, do I want to accumulate new aging ailments every year? Do I want my body to continue to deteriorating as I age? I decided it was time to fight back. I want to have a strong healthy body and enjoy the years to come in good health. I decided I don't want to continue filling my body with toxins such as excess amounts of sodium, sugar, fat & unnecessary chemicals. In the past 6 months, with a combination of clean eating, exercise, vitamins and supplements I have lost almost 20 pounds and lessened the pain in my knees. This is a lifestyle change which I am committed to maintaining for the rest of my life.

I had always thought I ate fairly well, but I didn't know what eating clean really meant. When I lost the remaining 14 lbs of baby weight this past Juanuary just by changing my eating habits, it all made much more sense to me. I have always been really great in the gym, but the weight wasn't coming off. I don't eat clean 100% of the time, but I eat 100 times better than I did before, and I now love the way my body looks and feels!

My blood pressure readings are now down to an average of 110 to 124/72-83, from over 150/110. Woo Hoo!..
