Normally a plate of cookies would be my answer, but what I find relieves my stress is a walk with the dog, a run on the treadmill or a weight workout. I always leave those activities feeling energized with a whole new outlook on the situation(s). Like I'm a new person, somehow. I definately feel happier when I'm done!

I have a very busy life looking after my 12 yr. old daughter 1/2 time, keeping a home, being single, looking after my 88 yr. old mother, and now looking after my sister who has just been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and I have my own business with employees.

I find that since I have been eating clean with lots of vegtables, protein and fruit, I rarely get sick with colds or flu's. I have to remember to drink a lot of water and the diet and water help with the stress.

Yoga and hanging out with my daughter. We go on walks along the trails near our house, and it takes my mind off things.

I usually go for a nice long run or hit the gym!!! For me, there is nothing like lacing up my running shoes and hitting the pavement to release my stress! It doesn't take me very long to get into the zone!!!! I go along a trail or route that I know well, stay off a busy road, and my mind just let go!!!! I make some of my best decisions when I am out no my runs...my mind feels free and open!!! And I get a great workout to top it off!!! Marla
