Two work-outs:
Oxygen's Jan 2010 Best Body Ever Leg Work-out - 3 sets
3 mile run with a fellow Clean Eating friend!

The leg work-out I did in 15 minutes to get my heart rate up and I had to squeeze it in to my agenda. But, I made it work!!!

i'm a fitness instructor, so i have the 'built-in' advantage of working out for a living! today's workout involved teaching 2 classes:

step n' tone - 45 minutes of moderate intensity step training
15 minutes of upper body dumbell exercises (lat pulls, lateral
raises, front raises, shoulder presses, bicep curls, tricep
kickbacks, tricep pushups, regular pushups)

bodycombat - 60 minute high-intensity cardio training using a program that
involves a mix of martial arts in a group fitness format.

i LOVE my job, and i LOVE working out and celebrating movement and good health :o)

Kettlebells! i've started a new workout rotation this week and this is my new focus. I have a couple of DVDs to rotate 3 days per week. I love how strong I feel after this type of workout.

Walking lunges to the mail box and back. About 240 in total.
I received strange looks from my onlookers but my aching glutes erased any self doubt of doing my boot camp exercise on the sidewalk!

My latest workout was amazing, I'm still feeling it. I did 3 sets of dips, a stationary hold and pushups on suspended rings (to failure) and then pushups on the floor to failure. I finished the workout with 3 sets of 10 kettle bell swings and hop squats accross the room and back to the kettle bell. (hop forward into a squat then back onto the opposite foot and repeat) I am going to take my dog for a vigorous walk in a few minutes and am totally stoked for my workout with friends tonight!

Just finished a 45 min workout. Feel great. The secret is to be true to yourself. A clean soul is the first step, a good honest look in the mirror. If you want others to see the real you - start to prove yourself.

I did the month three chest and back workout from oxygen magazine. I have had to change parts of it because I do not belong to a gym so all that I do is at home. So on the back workout I do pull-ups instead of pull downs

I started a circuit training program this week. Yesterday was upper body. Today was legs: 4 sets of 15-20 reps each, leg press, plie squats, seated leg curl, lying leg curl, standing calf raise, seated calf raise, then 5 minutes of cardio (no resting between any). Then 1 minute of rest, and on to the next set. I am TIRED now!

My last workout was burst training on my "X-ISER", 3 minutes,
Then 30 or so minutes of mat Pilates/strength training w/ weights.
I do this early in the morning, 5-6x per week. At 57 I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.

Hmm, well today I had a good 30 minute run and then a weight workout: Dumbbell rows (25 lbs), Dips, Army Split Squats, 1 leg ball roll out, bench step ups, inverted rows. If I am on the ball I will do do yoga later.
