2 months in with a WARRIOR attitude, and I've lost 12 pounds! It may not sound like much for 2 months of eating clean and weight training, but I had a bout with pneumonia recently. I'm just getting over it, but did not allow illness to detour me! I have already plotted out my exercise calendar for the next few weeks, and I'm even beginning a 5K training program in order to run a 5K this summer! A year ago, I would have never imagined even being interested in running! I am on fire this year with eating clean, and thanks to Tosca and the ECD, I kicked binge eating finally. So, I am blessed to still feel on fire after the first 2 months of The 4th Annual Eat Clean Diet Makeover Challenge. I am encouraging and rooting for everyone! We are all winners! =)

Congrats to all of my Eat Clean Challengers! The way I see it, we're all winners!

So far I have lost 8 lbs. My Eat Clean habits have improved tremendously, but, unfortunately, I have picked up some sinus/cold virus thing that just doesn't want to leave my body. I have found that in my moments of weakness and fatigue, I just wanted to eat my comfort foods. Lots of carbs like toast, noodles and warm foods.

However, I have continued to keep moving. That's good news, right? I joined a Zumba fit class and a Socasize Dance class. I get to have fun and burn calories at the same time.

More good news! I joined the Sporting Life 10K run to send kids with Cancer to camp. I am so excited! This is such a great cause and it challenges me to get in shape. The event is in May and I have already stated training.
Wish me luck!!

All the best
Mary

Well I didn't think I could do it. Give up pop, burgers and treats, but I have! 2 months later I've lost 12 pounds and 10 inches. I've gotten into 2 pairs of pants that haven't fit me in a long while. I feel great and have a lot more energy. I also think that it helps that my husband is doing this with me. He didn't need to loose more than a few pounds but he loves the food as well. I wish everyone well and hope that everyone reaches their goals. Good Luck!

I LOVE eating clean!!! I'm down 15lbs and 7 inches since the beginning of January...and that's with a vacation to Cabo too! Although the eating wasn't clean on vacation, I kept up with my workouts and stayed active! Fortunately I bounced right back when I got home!

Since then I've been cleaning out my closet because my clothes are getting so loose! I love the feeling of my jeans not being skin tight! I still have a muffin top but at least it's not spilling out anymore!

I have tons of energy and actually look forward to getting up early to work out!!!

Let's it get it done everyone!!!!

So far I am down 8 lbs and 11 inches! (That doesn't include the 25 lbs I lost in 2010 thanks to the Eat Clean Diet!)

I can feel the changes in my clothes and in my skin and hair. My energy is still the same but I think that is due to my lack of sleep (something that I am trying to work on getting MORE of)...

Starting the Jamie Eason LiveFit on Monday and seeing where those 12 weeks takes me. Someone on these boards once told me that I had to decide what it was that I TRULY wanted for myself, would it be the runner, the triathlete, the body builder, etc... and I KNOW that what I want is a lean and fit body....so weight lifiting/body building it is!! :)

Can't wait to see where this road leads...everyday is a new challenge that keeps me smiling!!

Thanks to Tosca, the Eat Clean Team and the KT for all the great advice and encouragement!!

I feel great! I've been at it for two months(but heard about it and registered for the challenge 6 weeks ago) I have lost 12.5 pounds so far. My clothes are all getting baggy! I need to do measurements to see what inches I've lost now too.

I have been working out for years, but was resistant to changing my diet because I love my sweets! When I finally decided I had enough and wanted to get this weight off once and for all, I've been so surprised by how little I crave sweets. I still plan for a treat once a week and make sure it's something I really love and that it's worth it! It feels great to be fit and healthy!

Thanks for the great recipes and ideas I find on this website!

So far, I am down 6 more pounds! I am Eating Clean and using Les Mills Pump. The other night, I asked my husband to massage my left hip because it was burning and he said, "WOW Tif, I cannot believe how much different your hip (booty) feels! That's muscle, not a knot!!" He was so surprised at how my body is changing! Have to say though, Day 15 of LMP and my quads feel like burger!! LOL KEEP IT UP LADIES!!

So far I've lost 17 pounds and 14 inches. I have so much energy and I feel great. The EC Diet has been working fabulously! I work out 4 days a week with a personal trainer and on my days that I don't work out I walk for 1 hr.

So I had to come back and share because just yesterday I said that I hadn't lost anything but I knew that some days/weeks the scale doesn't budge for me, and then all of a sudden, one day its like *poof* and a couple pounds are gone! Well this morning, I stepped on the scale and got my *poof*! I'm down 2 lbs or 1.5% of my body weight! Only 8.5% more to go!

Hi ECD Challenge Team! I joined the challenge late, as many did. Thursday marks the end of week 1. Here is what I am noticing thus far:

1-I have already dropped 2 pounds
2-My heart rate doesn't spike as high when I run the stairs @ work (6 floors-in heels)
3-I sleep better
4-My digestion is better
5-My skin is looking better
6-I recover better from runs and boot-camp
7-When I wake up in the morning - I am ready to go!
8-I am not tired during the day
9-My belly is a bit flatter
10-I am saving $ by not eating junk!

I had a handful of dark chocolate covered dried cherrys yesterday, and my stomach got so upset! I realised that my body doesn't want that stuff, it was me. Would I give a baby chocolate covered cherries? No. Whoud I give my dog tons of treats and candy? No. I realised just becuase I want something, my body may not want that. I am going to work on having NSA dried fruit and fresh fruit with me to tame my sweet tooth from now on. I don't want those stomach cramps again!

**I used to eat those by the handful and have no issue**

I have reached the two month mark in my eat clean makeover challenge and I am loving the results! I am down 24 pounds and 8 inches off my waist!!!! I am so excited to have started this new phase in my life with the support of my husband who is embracing the changes in our lifestyle.

Although the diet is going well I am finding it difficult to fit in the workouts with my 5 month old boy. We are starting to incorporate some home workouts after the little one has gone to bed...hopefully we will be able to keep it up.

Good luck everyone!

I've been eating clean for about 3 weeks now, and working out 5 days a week with weights and cardio. I haven't seen the scale budge yet, but I can definitely see a difference in my clothes, and I'm sure the measurements I do on the 14th (1 month in) will reflect my changes.

This is my 2nd time eating clean to lose weight (see ECD Challenge Intro post in profile), so I know that I tighten up and then it seems like the scale follows in "tiers"... I'll be the same weight same weight same weight and then all of a sudden I wake up one day and I'm down 1-3 lbs. The real challenge is to not lose heart, but this time around, my boyfriend is very active and supportive and he keeps telling me he can see changes. Its very motivating!

I started eating clean about 6 weeks ago. I am down 20lbs and feel fantastic! I was always dedicated to the gym but was not losing weight before because of my diet. Since eating clean I am steadily losing, am never hungry and feel amazing! Eating clean is helping me so much in reaching my goal!

I have only been doing the challenge for two weeks. However, I am down 4 lbs and have WAY more energy thanks to cleaning up my eating. Working out was already in my daily activities, just trying to switch up my routine and doing lots of circuit training. Looking forword to the next 2 months!

Started a bit late on the Makeover Challege, but it's going great so far! I'm down 10 lbs and I'm REALLY enjoying puting together some of my own clean-eat recipes!

I'm Going to the gym 5-6 times and week and incorporating a lot of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). One downfall is that I've developed some shin splints so I'm having to take it easy on the sprinting for a couple of weeks. I'm throwing in a lot of weight training and upping my leg press every week!

Looking forward to running in the Rugged Maniac Adventure Race in May!

I am starting your challange a bit late! The first of the year, my husband and I joined a "biggest loser" challange at our gym. We are both down weight, and feel so much better! I noticed that my eating cam really improve, and a challange is the way to motivate me. So, cheers to day one, making a possitive change and eating clean!

(I do a bootcamp workout 3-4 x a week (similar to crossfit) and run 2-3 x week)

This year I have signed up for:
a 7K race in March
a Spartan race in April
a Trail run in June
a Mudathalon in July

Eating clean will help push me to the next level in my fitness and health goals:)

I am happy to report that I am eight pounds lighter and have been to the gym 4 days a week since the New Year. I struggled with getting my cardio going and took the advise of run/walk routine for thirty minutes. I am now up to running two miles without stopping.....I am so excited. Looking forward to my first 5K. I have to admit the weight room still seems like a foriegn environment, but am learning not to feel so intimidated.

From my diet stand point it is a daily struggle....I have not quite learned how to plan ahead. I have challenged myself to make March my turning point. I have learned that it is very hard to change a lifetime of eating habits, but I do know what I need to do.

Overall feeling great !!!!
