I started eating clean on Monday September 26, 2011. So far so good. My goal is to continue to eat clean and lose 5 lbs by the end of October. I also need to schedule in cardio work outs.

I would like my weeks to consist of the following; weights 2-3 times/week, soccer one night, yoga once/week and one or two cardio sessions during the week. Writing it down overwhelms me but it is all worth it in the end.

I will also start to schedule my workouts on my calendar.

Having just found out I have a Hernia and need to change my gym workouts, my goal for October is to stay on track with the eating plan, and to find a way to still work on achieving my best body ever! And to be down 15 more pounds by Jan.

I will do this by not feeling sorry for myself and embrace the change that needs to happen to reach this goal. I have been searching for information as to what I can do at the gym and will incorporate as much physical activity as I can without making the hernia worse.

I will need to be far more diligent in my efforts, and be pro active in this endeavour.

I am taking baby steps. September I made sure to have all of my breakfast foods available, set up my table and put out my measuring cups and spoons the night before, along with my containers of oatmeal, wheat germ and flax, and my water glass so that there was no excuse for not eating properly. It worked and I am 4 pounds lighter now.

This month I will make sure that I have what I need to have proper lunches. Planning will be key.

I finally made it to 159 pounds, by Oct 1st, which was a previous goal. I want to get to 149 by the end of this month. I am eating clean, every day, and starting a Body For Life Challenge of my own-workouts start tomorrow. I have enlisted the help of my 14 year old daughter as my coach-she is a competitive gymnast and trains 10 hours a week. She's an excellent coach herself and is excited to help motivate, encourage and help me out. My biggest challenge will be to get all 5 small meals in- sometimes it seems like such a bother, but I have this day ahead of me to prepare some things for the week. Plan, Plan, Plan- that's my plan :)

PMS hit last week & I really struggled. My goals for October are:
1. to have more early nights & get some extra sleep
2. put last week's blowout behind me & return to clean eating (started yesterday)
3. make a few extra gym sessions (classes).
Seems I'm now on 2 weeks of spring holidays, I will have more time to ensure I meet these goals. I have also done some reading on which essential oils help with PMS & reducing cravings. So I shall be burning those oils around the house in a couple of weeks' time to nix PMS beforehand!
