* I just boiled 12 eggs so I can grab and go and the yolks are easy to take out!
* Chopped up all my Veggies and put into plastic bags
* Cooked 6 Chicken Breasts
* Made my brown rice
* Called the gym and told them Im coming in all week at noon...so my son has child care reserved while Im there!

This is what I do every week and it works perfectly! Everything is cooked and ready to go. People think Im crazy to spend all Sunday morning prepping food but I tell them - Hey... dont you see a difference in me!

Starting Week 1 of the Eat Clean Stripped. Pretty much following the plan, a few substitutions.

I have a banana and some nuts before I work out every morning. After work-out, I have my mixture of wheat berries, oat groats, quinoa, mushrooms and spinach that I cook up for the week. Lunch is salad with avacado, egg, tomato, and a vinagrette dressing. Snacks are Greek yogurt with almonds, dried cranberries, blueberries and sunflower seeds. I also eat an apple on the drive home from work so I won't snack on other stuff when I get home. I try to drink mainly water all day with one cup of coffee. Dinner is chicken, moose, or beef with steamed vegetables.

Here is the plan!!

breakfasts:oatmeal, quinoa or cream of wheat w/strawberries or banana and a scoop of ground flax & 1 egg-coffee
Leek-potato soup with grilled turkey, raw veggies
Fiesta Quinoa Pilaf with veggies and grilled turkey
Romesco Sauce to go over egg poached in spinach cooked in EVOO&Garlic;
White fish cooked in a chunky Italian tomato veggie sauce(onion, garlic, peppers, can of diced tomatoes, basil)
Ground venison patties with steamed veggies and raw veggies
Salad will fit in where I can: spinach with strawberries, pear, tomato, and toasted nuts drizzle with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice and good EVOO
Snacks will be apples with nuts, tuna pack with veggies, plenty of water!
I am stripping for a month, so, I am not doing dairy! One week in and so far so good!

yep. made a big batch of quinoa and an amazing turkey meatloaf with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach yesterday. Today I'll be making buffalo shrimp to top my salads with. And throughout the week I'll be making fish and steamed veggies.

Well I'm looking at this 7 Day Fat-Burning Starter Plan from the Fall 2010 Off The Couch...

Been wanting to make the switch to more of a clean diet for awhile. I've cut most caffeine, artificial sweeteners, sweets, and deep fried foods out of my diet. But I know there needs to be alot more to it than that.

But MAN, this is alot of eggs (which I don't mind) and tomatoes (which I'm not too excited about). And can you even buy that many sweet potatoes at once???

Yes, I will! I got all my recipes for the week from the new Oxygen Magazine. Tuna Casserole, Beef Teriyaki, and Chicken Mole! Then the usual chicken breast and white fish with veggies for the remaining days.
