My son (7) is super picky, but I ask him to try one bite of everything I make. Somedays that is smooth, someday that is not so smooth getting him to do so. My 17 year-old is a health nut whosen favorite snack is sunflower seeds. I don't have any issue with him eating healthy. I hope that giving my youngest no choice but to eat healthy he will come around and be much more willing to eat what I make and see that food is not a substance for feelings. I try to make foods fun and just like doing homework when he is doing his homework (I am in grad school) we will be each others examples for healthy living.
