I use bison the same way I use ground beef. Burgers, casseroles, meatballs, meatloaf, anything that I USED to use regular ground beef for I now use bison. I like the taste much better. It is a cleaner taste, more tender, and doesn't taste "dirty" like beef can sometimes.

Anything that calls for ground beef can utilize bison instead. My favorite (and my family's) is my Bison Chili. Yum! Burgers, Spaghetti Sauce, Stuffed Zucchini, Stuffed peppers, even just steaks, we love Bison! :-)

We cook with bison a lot! I like to make the baked zitti and sloppy joe recipe with ground bison. One of my husband's favorites is bison burgers wrapped in lettece, tomato, and onion with a side of sweet potato fries!
