I just got back from an all inclusive vacation to Mexico on Sunday....... so yeah, I'd say I went a little off track, nutrition-wise anyway!! However, I was pretty active while I was there, taking advantage of yoga on the beach, aerobics in the pool, etc. I feel like I'm still not back in the groove since I got back - I think I may be suffering from "post vacation depression" lol! Now that it's the weekend, I hope to have time to catch up on everything and start fresh on Monday.

It was a rough week for me. I had friends in town, so they wanted to hang out in the evenings and have drinks, I had a work dinner one night, St. Patrick's Day celebrations and on top of it all, I was running low on funds so I didn't do as well as I wanted to do on my diet. It was all Ezekial wraps, eggs and peanut butter for me. Next week will be better! I'll do some grocery shopping and get back at the gym!!

I definitely fell off track this week. I am feeling super bad about it too, my plan for the weekend is lots of water, long runs with my dog and gym time. I am also going to focus on increasing my protein intake. I'm not much of a protein gal but it is what's keeping me from building more muscle.

I was sick last week and fell off my work out and eating schedule. Instead of beating myself up, I just slowly got back into it ... rode my bike for 10 miles yesterday and made stuffed peppers from my new Eat Clean Cookbook. I *finally* feel like I am on track again and hope I don't get a cold again until next year.

I have definately fallen off track this week, and I am desperate to get back on. My family hasn't always been the most supportive with meals that I serve, always wanting a second one or different choice. Last night I had a serious talk with my husband and let him know that if I was going to succeed, I needed him to be on board, TOTALLY. He agreed, and we even went and got him a cooler! I am excited to start the weekend on a healthy note, and look forward to a great week!

We have a group in Kitchener that meets weekly for a planned 12 week period. We found that being accountable for some is hard. Falling off the wagon is a possibility so we encourage each other to recover at our next snack or meal. Having a partner or partners who share your vision for good health is a wonderful tool in your get healthy tool box. I adore the energy of Tosca and her team (she knows that) and this website is also a tool in your tool box. Our group discussion this week was this: if you cannot name your emotion, you cannot react to it. Are you sad, angry, jealous, offended, discouraged??? Once you have named your emotion, it is easier to say, "there is no food that will fix this problem"...... it has helped all of us handle our reaction to our emotional eating issues. Stay clean and find friends to encourage you. eloise

I am not sure if I went off-track, but it's my first week and I think I dug a little too heartily into the (albeit natural!) giant turkish figs. For me, it's more important that I do not freak out about it, and just start fresh again today. I will prepare and package all my meals, even though I'll be home all day. That way, I won't be tempted to veer off the plan.
