My workout partner is my husband. He has been weight lifting for approximately 30 yrs. and understands the training concepts and how muscles react. He goes to the YMCA every day at lunch and he goes every evening with me. I rely on his knowledge to make sure I am doing everything right. I am very fortunate to have a life partner who embraces this lifestyle and supports me even though it took me many, many years to get on board.

This morning at the gym he was talking to a guy about a weight lifting technique and the guy said 'well when you're my age you'll see it's not that easy' because he was 58. He was shocked when my husband told him that he would be 57 next month. He thought my husband was in his 40's. My husband was flattered and I was proud because I know how dedicated he is and it was such a great compliment.

I have two great workout partners. One is a friend I met at the gym in a boot camp. We take cardio kick classes twice a week at the gym and run 5k's together. I keep her motivated by finding new workouts we can try and sharing what I know about eating clean. The other is a friend from college and we both have similar struggles with our weight. We motivate each other by setting goals and helping each other achieve them. She pushes me to work harder and stay motivated.

My workout partner my Oxygen magazine. I take the issue that goes with my workout for that day! I go early in the morning so I cannot find anyone that would like to workout that early. I push myself as hard as I can.

I have TWO workout partners - great friends, both. One is a trainer @ the gym (we've been working out together a year - on my own, I've been at it about 15 years). We get together on weekdays @ 11:00 a.m. and Gina (the trainer) really pushes all three of us to some crazy, sweaty, creative workout madness in the effort to help our other friend wrap up a 35 lb loss. Trainer friend + friend losing a lot of weight = me getting some of the best, most fun workouts of my life!

My daughter is suppose to be my workout partner. I love the time we spend together at the gym but she is not very motivated. Several days a week she backs out which makes it hard for me to get moving.
