I eat oatmeal with blueberries and a small organic apple before my morning workout (6am). It provides a ton of energy that I need. Then after my morning workout I make a spinach omelette (3 egg whites, 2 egg yolks and fresh spinach).

Before my evening workout (6pm) I eat a cup of tuna and half of a sweet potato. Then after my evening workout I celebrate with fish or chicken with a mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

If my workout is early, no food, however I do add a complex starchy carb to my dinner the night before. If it's later in the day, my usual pre-workout snack is an apple and a couple hard boiled eggs.

I eat a snack depending on what my activity will be. I teach Pilates early morning (5:15am) so I normally a cup of coffee with a half scoop of whey protein.
Before spinning (45 min to 2hrs) I find I have more energy if I have some easily digested carbs like a cup of orgainic oat rings cereal, 1/2 Lara Bar or even a slice of Ezekial bread.
Before really long rides (4 hours or more) I eat a big bowl of oatmeal w/raisins, flaxseed & banana and stock my bag w/ Lara Bars.
I always eat after a workout--preferably protein (whey or salmon).

During the week I don't eat a pre- I wake up and go straight to the gym, but post I usually have peanut butter on Ezekiel bread, along with a mixture of pure cranberry juice diluted in water with 1-2tbsp of flaxseeds, and 1-2tbsp chia seeds mixed in.

On the weekends when I have time to eat before the gym I have pb on Ezekiel and then when I get home its usually a whey protein shake and a piece of fruit or eggs.

I vary it depending on the working out or how I'm feeling. I may have yogurt with some nuts and spirulina. I had a smoothie this morning with banana, green magma plus, spirulina and a super fruits powder that i'm trying to use up. I may do whole wheat toast and peanut butter or an apple with peanut butter. Post workout is usally a protein shake if i'm not having a meal immediately after.
