Do you plan your meals for the week in advance? Does it help you stay on track?

No, but I know I should!! Breakfast snacks and lunch are usually the same most days but it's dinner I struggle with....and I don't even have children yet!

I do much better when I plan meals in advance or at least have all the ingredients on hand. I just started with Eating Clean and am going to start on Cooler Plan 1 tomorrow. Luckily this plan is fairly limited in ingredients so I have a good idea of my meals for the next week or so!

In the meantime, I am also looking at recipes and stocking up on "staples" and spices and other ingredients needed for all the great recipes in the Eating Clean cookbook. I have already tried a couple and they are delicious and easy to prepare!

I am not good at doing meal plans so I have now decided to just use the ones already prepared in the magazines

Just getting started with Cooler 1...about to head to the grocery store. I was wondering if anybody has any thoughts about how the bulk of fat grams (75%) is at breakfast time (ie flax-16 grams of fat in 4 tbsp.) . Each meal there after seems to have 2-3 grams of fat with each sitting. Is this good for us women? I am used to sreading out the healthy fat through out the day...I guess i am a bit scared, here. :(
Also, am i suppose to be adding extra fat (olive oil) in my preparation of lean proteins? Or do i use olive oil spritzer?

This week I did not plan my meals in advance and it shows. I didn't get a chance to shop and now my meals this week have been sloopy. I am going to plan much better for next week.

I am much better on this program when I have a plan of action. I think the best way to be successful is to work a plan after planning the work.

I am learning to plan although that is not my nature. I started working recently so my hubby and I have been shopping on Sunday and planning at least 4 meals that he can cook or I can start in the crockpot before work. But we've been relying on lots of convenience items. I need to start rethinking how we shop and increase the "clean" food in our menus!

I am a one day at a time person. I usually plan what I will eat the next day the night before. I do keep the house stocked with the all the makings of clean eats so it is never hard to put something together for me and the family.

Absolutely! Once the weekly ads come out, I start making my menu and grocery list. Sunday I hit the stores then head home and do all the prep & cooking for the week. With everything done ahead of time, loading my cooler in the mornings, and putting dinner on the table at night is a snap!

I plan my lunches in advance more than my dinners, it really helps me stay on track. I'll spend some time putting together 10 days worth of lunches and freezing them. It's a huge time saver in the mornings.

In the past i have planed my meals and it helps alot for me to say on track i dont get cravings as much because i am thinking about the chicken breast i get to have at lunch and not lettign my mind run wild on what should i have and ten diffrent things start dancing around in your head. But i am also not the best at setting up the plan i need more work on that when i don't have a plan i don't eat 100% clean and lots of time end up eating take out.
