Throw Back Thursdays can be painful but are good for seeing how far you've come!

It was a great week! My eating was 100% on point. I made a few new recipes from the latest Clean Eating magazine; the roasted corn and black bean salad, the shrimp foil packets and the chicken in peanut sauce foil packets. Everything was delish and I stuck to my plan the entire week. My food was so delicious that I haven't even thought about this week's treat meal yet.
My workouts were great as well. Continued training for my boxing ventures, lifting, increased my weights at kettlebells and even threw in a spin class.
Since it was such a great week and I was feeling proud of myself I rewarded myself. In the past a reward would have come in the shape of food but not anymore! The weather was gorgeous so I cut my Friday short and went to a friend's house to enjoy an afternoon in the sun and in the pool. I wore plenty of sunscreen, put on a bikini with confidence (this is my second summer ever of being able to wear a two piece!!) and while my friend was having some cocktails poolside I was content with my pina colada seltzer water. I managed to take a Flex Friday pic too! I rarely get on the scale but I did this morning to see what that little metal box was going to say...133. The lowest number I have ever seen. Down 121lb!

I LOVE seeing the transformation both Cali and I have made! She's was a rescue pup and had a tortured start. The first pic is soon after I got her in late 2008. You can see from our faces we were both going through some tough stuff at that time. The next is from a few days ago...two strong, confident, healthy, happy girls! xoxo https://www.facebook.com/LivingInspiredWithJillian

A little Throw Back Thursday? I can't believe I found a pic of me in a bathing suit. This is definitely not at my heaviest but I was miserable in life in general here. I was caught up in an unhealthy relationship, had lost myself and stopped putting in any effort to better myself. If I could sit down with the girl on the left I would tell her: "It's going to get better. You will realize that you deserve the healthiest, happiest life ever and you will accept nothing less when you realize that. You are going to figure it out and you will never again let anyone or anything dim your light. You will turn heads with your confidence and love of life. You will do it all and then some. PS: Those legs you've got right there...just wait until you see how you transform them!" xoxo https://www.facebook.com/LivingInspiredWithJillian

I've lost 120lb through working out, eating clean and dealing with the head stuff that goes along with it. I was working my butt off and my hard work and dedication was not reflected in the mirror so I decided the best answer for me was to have a tummy tuck. The number one question I receive from people is "You've lost 120lb, your body is perfect...how do you not have extra skin." My answer...my body isn't perfect (but it is!!!) I just don't show you my imperfections, your body is perfect too (focus on your sweet spots) and I had a tummy tuck. This week I got really uncomfortable and posted pics and videos each day of me and my (im)Perfect body, my puppy scruff (what I lovingly call the extra skin I still have on my lower back) my before and after tummy tuck pic (that was a hard day) and surgery pictures. Check out my page here for all the details:

The July edition of CE Magazine arrived on my doorstep on Thursday. I wasted no time trying out the recipes! They're all delicious so get prepping!
This morning I made the slow cooker pork with peach BBQ sauce (page 79). I skipped the slaw and collard greens and paired it with steamed broccoli and a piece of the grilled honey-lime corn on the cob (page 48). I also made the mediterranean marinated roasted peppers (page 32)...they are to die for! The last thing I made from the magazine was some taco seasoned ground 99% lean turkey (page 23) which I'll pair with egg whites this week.
In addition to this I prepared my oats for the next few days, made the leek soup from Stripped (this has become a staple and I think I'm on week 5 of it), lean beef patties with organic grass-fed 95% ff beef (i throw carmelized onions and spices inside), roasted sweet potatoes and steamed green beans.
I drank my hot lemon water this morning and had my 2T of ACV in water this afternoon.
My body is going to LOVE me this week! xoxo

You've heard Tosca say it a million times...it's 80% what you eat and I'm here to repeat it...It's 80% what you eat! I had surgery on April 24th and am not able to work out until July 17th...who's counting! Since that time I have focused 100% on clean eating. Since I'm not in the gym I've taken the hours I would be there researching new recipes and making all sorts of new stuff. It's been great and I hardly realize how much I miss getting my sweat on. Since that time I have lost 13lbs! In the last 4 weeks I have lost 1 inch from my waist and 2 inches from my hips! I'm loving the changes I am seeing. I am now down to 138 and am just a few lbs away from my ultimate weight goal. Thank you Tosca!!
