• 1 lb / 454 g cooking apples • Juice of 1 lemon • 1 cup / 240 ml fresh blackberries • ¼ cup / 60 ml whole wheat flour or gluten-free flour • ¼ cup / 60 ml rolled oats (uncontaminated if necessary) • 3 Tbsp / 45 ml canola oil (extra may be needed) • ¼ cup / 60 ml pitted dates, finely chopped • ¼ cup / 60 ml unsalted sunflower seeds • Eat-Clean Cooking Spray

I just started the Eat Clean diet and this was the first dessert that I made...WONDERFUL! I am a sweet fan all the way and this was a hit with our dinner party friends as well...thanks for helping those that just can't pass over the dessert!

This recipe did not work for me. It seemed that 3T of oil was way to much for 1/4 cup oats and 1/4 cup flour. It was like soup. I had to add much more oats and flour to make it resemble crumbs.
