I just started writing everything down 2 days ago. I'm using a small notebook so I can track both workouts and food in one space. It dfinitely keeps me conscious of my behavior!

I use a spread sheet on Excell. I am on the computer a lot, so I just pull it up and see what I have eaten and I keep my exercise on there too. I think it is a great way yo keep track of everything!!!

"I track my food on sparkpeople.com It's how I have lost over 90 pounds! I do so much better when I am tracking my food." from amberkoz

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting about sparkpeople.com. My husband has been begging me to start keeping a hand journal and stop paying to track my Nutrition and Exercise.

I track on and off. When I track I do very well, when I don't my weight just stays put. I like the electronic food tracking so I will give this free site a try.

I do when I'm trying to cut some weight. It is the only way to stay on the right track...it's so easy to forget about calories you snuck in earlier in the day!

I made copies of the food tracker from the book and keep track that way. I keep better track while at work than at home and still have not figured that one out yet? I also eat less while at home too. Not to mention I work nites and sleep days (4tens 3off) so when i get to my days off its hard to turn everything around and vice versa when going back to work.

No I currently do not have a food journal. I have tried it in the past but always managed to neglect it after a week or so. I should start one again as I am trying to loose that last 10 pounds and tracking my food intake would be very helpful.

I use the Eat Clean companion to sum up my day and another hard cover journal to plan my meals for the week - it works well. My husband teases me because I'm always "writing" but I don't think he minds the 40 pounds I've lost since our baby was born in July.

Currently, yes I"m keeping everything on track in my ECD Companion book. I find that when I'm committed and tracking everything I eat, I stay on track much easier. If I miss tracking my food even one day, it will sometimes take a week to get back on track and get in the habit again!

I journal online in a couple of different places. It really helps to get the feedback of others on the same path. I think journalling is absolutely integral to success - I would never be getting the results I'm getting without it!

I actually just got the companion and this is my second week using it. I like it because it keeps me in-line it reminds me how much I need each day. At first I didn't like the small spaces, but I've actually went...well I have no place to write it down and I dont really need it...so never mind.
But....is there going to be a mashup of the workout journal and food journal?? I am so used to putting them in the same place, and I think it would be nice to be able to see what I ate and what I did in one place.
