I grab a cup of hot tea.
It's been working so far. Drinking it seems to calm me down until I forget about my sweet tooth.

I love nut butters. For me, having a piece of good whole grain bread with some nut butter and no sugar fruit spread is just as good as eating a piece of chocolate cake! Plus, the extra protein really fills me up.

Every day at work, I look forward to my afternoon snack of PB on toast! Yum!

I usually have sugar cravings when I'm around desserts -- and unfortunately sometimes removing myself from the situation isn't possible. For example, my mom can't have a Sunday dinner without at least 5 different types of desserts. I make sure I have my chai tea ready and it really helps! Fruits are great too, especially fresh raspberries (which my mom now puts next to me at the table whenever we are at my parents' house for dinner!).

Grab a piece of good fruit or try my best to get away from the temptation by getting out of that room!

Have a little bit of something really good. Like one dark chocolate truffle as opposed to a whole crappy sub-standard chocolate bar.

For me an apple works every time. It's sweet and takes time to eat it. pair it with a cup of tea, and I'm good to go.

I bought some dark choclolate chocolate chips, when I have one of my famous chocolate cravings, I have about a teaspoon or so along with a glass of water, and then I'm ok!!!
