Baked Apple Oatmeal

This recipe is delicious!!

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1.25-1.5 cups of water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • optional: 1 scoop protein powder

Instructions

1. Line an 8" square pan with parchment paper (for easy removal).
2 Slice 1 apple. Dice or shred the other apple.
3. Combine dry ingredients.
4. Combine wet ingredients, including diced/shredded apple.
5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix well.
6. Layer some apple slices on the bottom of the prepared dish. Pour oatmeal apple bater into pan. Top with remaining apple slices.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Yield: 1-2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes
