Standard Day in my EC Life

  • Meal 1 - Morning Start

    Lean Protein: 1.5 tbsp Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder, 1 c. Kefir
    Complex Carb - Starch: 2 tbsp quick oats
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: 1/2 c. frozen antioxidant berries, banana
    Supplement: 1.5 tbsp flax, 1 tsp hive healer honey (bee pollen and royal jelly)
    Drinks: water

    Notes: This is my morning super smoothie. I sometimes add Udo's Oil but not today.

  • Meal 2 - Midmorning Booster

    Lean Protein: 2oz chicken breast
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: 2 cups mixed veggies (carrots, cucumber, red peppers)
    Healthy Fat: 2 tbsp light cocnut milk
    Drinks: water
    Other Items: rice vinegar (with coconut milk to make dressing)
  • Meal 3 - Lunchtime Refuel

    Lean Protein: 2oz chicken breast
    Complex Carb - Starch: 1c. whole wheat pasta
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: 1/2 c. red pepper
    Healthy Fat: 1 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 black olives
    Drinks: water
  • Meal 4 - Mid-afternoon Munch

    Lean Protein: 1/2 c. 1% cottage cheese
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: 1/2 c. blueberries, 1/2 c. raspberries
    Other Items: 1 tsp agave nectar
  • Meal 5 - Dinner Delight

    Lean Protein: 6 oz lean ground turkey, 1/4 c. milk
    Complex Carb - Starch: 1 c. new potatoes
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: 2 c. mixed baby greens, 3 grape tomatoes, 1/2 c. other veggies
    Healthy Fat: 2 tbsp olive oil
    Drinks: water
    Other Items: veg boullion, chicken boullion, spices, garlic
  • Meal 6 - Before Bed If Hungry - Optional

    Lean Protein: skim milk
    Complex Carb - Fruit or Vegetable: various fruit
    Healthy Fat: nuts or seeds
    Drinks: skim milk, water

    Notes: This is the meal where I sometimes get out of hand. I tend to eat too many nuts and too many glasses of ice cold skim milk. YUM!
