Details

Getting the kids off to school on time is hard! Make it easier with this perfect kid-friendly breakfast from The Eat-Clean Diet® for Family and Kids, which can be prepared in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients

• 3 egg whites
• 1 whole egg
• 1 Tbsp / 15 ml skim milk or low-fat milk of your choice
• Sea salt and pepper
• 1 Tbsp / 15 ml yogurt cheese
• 1 tsp / 5 ml chopped fresh cilantro or other fresh herb
• 1 x 7-inch / 18 cm brown rice wrap
• 1 tsp / 5 ml extra virgin olive oil
 

Preparation

  1. Whisk together egg, milk, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Coat with cooking spray. Pour in egg mixture, tilting to spread evenly. Cook, piercing any bubbles, for about one minute or until set.
  3. Spread the omelet with yogurt cheese and sprinkle with cilantro or other herbs. Slide the omelet onto the brown-rice wrap. Roll up!

    you make the yogurt cheese get a cheese cloth or you can buy a yogurt cheese maker(it is a strainer and you put it in the container and it has a lid get cheese cloth put that in the stainer and then put the strainer over a bowl to collect the liquid that comes out of the yogurt, and leave it, the longer you leave it the better, more liquid comes out. I have a yogurt cheese maker and I LOVE IT.. makes it easier to keep in the fridge.
