I'm writing to say how wonderful I feel since I started following The Eat-Clean Diet®. I have had to watch my weight since I was a teenager. Though I was physically active, the pounds still found places to land on my body. I entered a fitness challenge at work and decided to follow your Eat-Clean Diet book because it made sense. It was not a fad or gimmick but rather an opportunity for permanent change in how I eat. What I like most is that I am free to chose the protein and veggies that I like, using fresh wholesome food, not pre-made or frozen foods that usually contain preservatives, food coloring, and too many additives to list. I am 5' 7" and weighed in for the challenge on June 23, 2009 at 205 pounds. Today is July 16, and I am ecstatic that I have shed 15 pounds of fat. I am now walking at least five days a week and feel energized and lighter on my feet. My goal is to shed 50 more pounds and I know that it will happen because I review your book almost daily to keep me motivated.
The book is colorful, educational, concise and filled with encouragement. I am so glad and thankful that I found your book while I was visiting my sister in Montrose, Colorado. The cover was so inviting that I immediately decided to buy it. I have recommended it to several friends!
Thank you for sharing your story and helping me to permanently change the way I see food. My husband has also joined in me in eating clean.
