Kellie’s using The Eat-Clean Diet® to take better care of herself and her family!

Dear Tosca,

Kellie’s using The Eat-Clean Diet to take better care of herself and her family! Some time ago, while reading an issue of Oxygen magazine, I learned about your book, The Eat-Clean Diet®. I was very interested in it because I heard so much about “Eating Clean”. I hurried to the nearest bookstore to order a copy.

As soon as I got it, I read it cover to cover. In my first attempt at following the plan, I lasted only a week. Life gets in the way sometimes and you lose focus of the things that should be the most important – like taking care of yourself and your family. Work should be last.

I finally dusted off my book about two weeks ago and decided not to lose focus or to make any excuses this time. I started this Eating Clean thing again. It is a struggle for me because I’m not very creative in the kitchen, I’m working 40 hours a week, and I’m taking care of my husband and two children. There isn’t a lot of spare time, but I make time for myself. I have figured out that the only time that works for me to hit the gym is at a very early 4:30 am!

To help me with this lifestyle, I also ordered The Eat-Clean Diet® Cookbook. When the package finally arrived, I was so excited that I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning! I was so shocked to see that you had included a hand written note with the book and had autographed the covers for me! I was so touched I started to cry.

I am truly grateful to you just knowing that someone cares so much and believes deeply that we can all improve ourselves! I will not lose focus again! I owe it to myself and to you, Tosca, for helping me.

I won’t let us down!

Sincerely,

Kellie Bywater

I want to also do this for my husband. He is a heart patient and a diabetic. His first wife never helped him with his diet or the way that he ate now here he is a diabetic and a man who use to move furnature for a living on dissability. So here I am trying to make things better for him and myself. I know that I can't make it 100% but I am going to give it my all.. Everything I have. I want him to be around for a long time and maybe come off some of his medications......

Kellie: I love your letter! I can totally relate, as I work full time plus take care of two kids and my husband. I feel responsible for setting the tone in our family--providing healthy meals/snacks and modeling what a healthy lifestyle should be! I feel overwhelmed sometimes, trying to "do it all," but I keep telling myself how very worth it it is! :) I'm very new to Eating Clean but am so excited about it!
