Cheryl tells us how The Eat-Clean Diet® helped her and her family get healthier!

Dear Tosca,

One day I walked into a supermarket and was browsing the books on my lunch break and was drawn to your Eat-Clean Diet® book. I wasn't overweight at 5'1" and 110 pounds but I was having trouble keeping focus and thinking clearly. Also, at the time, my 13-year-old son weighed over 200 pounds and I was concerned about his health. I was certainly looking for change.

After buying The Eat-Clean Diet that is all in the past! My husband, three teens and I have been Eating Clean for a year now and have seen amazing results that began soon after we started to follow your plan! My son has lost 35 pounds and looks and feels so much better. We try not to focus on the scale as he is still growing taller and working out with his high school football team to build muscle. Since Eating Clean, I’ve felt more focused and clear. I know it’s from Eating Clean because a few times I’ve had junk food and immediately experienced the same feeling of fogginess and depleted energy I experienced before I started eating better.

I look back at the way that my family and I used to eat (chips, cases of pop and juice and cases of frozen food) and I can’t believe it. Now, we now drink lots of water and I bought a juicer. Our grocery cart used to be overflowing with boxes and now it is full with fresh foods.

I was lucky that my family was so receptive and welcoming to the change. Interestingly enough, relatives were over at Christmas and someone left a can of pop in our fridge and it sat there for weeks before I poured it down the sink. I thought for sure my kids would be fighting over it, but not one of them touched it.

People always ask us how my son lost weight and I immediately recommended your book. My Eat-Clean lifestyle has also rubbed off on my co-workers and we now all share healthy recipes and food testing. Thank you for educating the public and saving my family from a lifetime of poor choices and bad food!
